Paddling aside
	I completed my Matric (High School) at Durban High School, passing with an A average. From there I moved to Cape Town in 1999 where I began a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Cape Town and graduated in 2003. Thereafter, I successfully passed a series of screening interviews with Unilever to be awarded a position within the company as an Innovation Engineer on the graduate recruitment program. I was promoted to SA Homecare R&D manager for Unilever in 2006. In April 2009 I joined Nestle based at their Global Product Technology Centre in Lausanne, Switzerland. My position as Packaging Engineer, entailed supporting the business developing new packaging innovations.
